Hi,

I have submitted my application for R2. Can you please share your experience?

Hi Pramod,
I found the Cranfield admission process quite smooth and prompt. They asked me to start my interview with a 2.5-3.5 mins presentation on a topic provided before hand. My interview lasted for not less than an hour and it was more about trying to know who you are. I was not asked the trademark questions. I came to know of their decision in about 10 days.

Best of luck

HI,

Even i got selected at cranfield too..BUt i was surprised when then got back to me in 2 days time.Even tho the interview went okay,i thought i blew it as it was 4pm UK time when the interview took place and the interviewer looked a bit tired at the start..The interview was more like a dicussion. They did not ask the standard questions but they were more general and relaxed. They will want to know if your really interested in cranfield. They will ask you what do you know about the place other than the general view of the school.Since i had done my homework and since i was really interested,i wasnt caught off guard. All the best..Hope to see you guys soon

hi all,
i received my offer on 25th feb and my interview was on 20th.Like others i have received some scholarship.
I am currently living and working in hyderabad
My name has been added to the roll call and i have subscribed myself to the facebook page as well.
Its nice to meet folks on the same boat !! :)
I have few concerns at this point.
1)would i be able to take my wife along with me,in terms of cost effecctiveness and her being able to work there ?
2) should i choose oncampus or off campus housing?
3)how will i fund my studies ?

hopefully we can help each other out with any queries. So please dont hesitate to share your concerns as well.

guys ,there is one help!!

chopras is assigned agent for Cranfield .When I talked to them in Hyderabad ,I found them really helpful and they answered few of the questions.
q1.should I take my partner ?
ans:- you can ...she can work full time while you stay
q2.is cranfield a good option?
ans:-very good for SCM and also good for general management
q3.alumni contact ,can you provide any ?
ans:- will check and let you know

there is a loan option with hdfc credilla but it seems that credilla is not accepted by embassy of UK.
we have to provide 800 pounds *9 months=7200 pounds as personal expense to embassy .
if wife comes along then again600*9=5400 pound for her but only in case she travels with you otherwise 600*2 months.(this info I found on my own)

Sidharth,

Sorry to burst the bubble but few things you need to consider.Cranfield is an amazing school and in my opinion it comes 4or 5th in UK.top 3 occupied by lbs ,judge and cambridge. The tussle is between warick and cranfield..But to answer your question

q1.should I take my partner ?
ans:- you can ...she can work full time while you stay..YES SHE CAN STAY AND WORK THERE.sHE CAN WORK THERE PROVIDED SHE GETS A WORK VISA FROM AN EMPLOYER.iT IS DIFFICULT FOR EMPLOYERS TO PROVIDE WORK VISA AS ONLY ABOUT 27000 COMPANIES ARE AUTHORIZED TO DO SO.aND SINCE CRANFIELD IS REALLY FAR,SHE MIGHT NOT GET A JOB THERE..SORRY.sHE CAN DO PART TIME BUT IT WONT BE QUALITY WORK!!!AND PAY IS EXTREMELY LOW
q2.is cranfield a good option?
ans:-very good for SCM and also good for general management..YES..CRANDFIELD IS A GREAT SCHOOL WITH A BETTER EMPLOYEMENT RECORD THAN MOST SCHOOLS IN UK.tHE CROWD AT CRANFIELD IS SLIGHTLY MORE MATURE AND EXPERIENCED AND THERE IS LOADS TO LEARN.tHE PLACE IS WARM AND FRIENDLY AND I HAVE HEARD THEY HELP YOU A LOT ..gREAT SCHOOL
q3.alumni contact ,can you provide any ?
ans:- will check and let you know .CHECK OUT LINKED IN ..YOU WILL FIND THEM.sINCE ITS AN OLD SCHOOL,THERE IS A GOOD ENOUGH ALUMNI BUT MOST WILL BE IN THE UK.iN THE MIDDLE EAST THERE ARE QUIET A FEW AND IN REALLY GOOD POSITIONS..

hope this helps..accommodation..well campus is preferred for bachelors but since cranfield is in the middle of no where, there are ppl who prefer a little more town residence .The name of the town in milton keyes and is about 15 mins from cranfield.I am not sure about family but there are a few there..i dunno the statistics

hope this helps

what i see from the guidance document issued by UK gov,it says that if you are ad dependent of a person in tier 4 scheme going for over 1 year then you are eligible to work and you don't need any visa from employer or work permit of any kind. But it seems from your BOLD and Red marked replies that it is not so.
2nd ...i am aware it is a great school and also aware about its record in placement ,i was pointing to the conversation with Chopra and the answer they gave to my questions !!
3rd i am aware about linked in .

thanks for your replies anyways.
