The debrief was certainly not long and i learnt quite a lot from it. I just purchased PR book today and thank God that I have found on the right time that it is not enough. Will move on to Manhattan and Aristotle after this ? Can you please recommend out of MGMAT and Aristotle what should I go for ?

Personally speaking, both Manhattan and Aristotle series are good. Aristotle however has a bit of edge because it's written in a much simpler form. It has a lot of practice questions too

For non-native, Aristotle is the way to go! very comprehensive and application oriented

@russianaspirant

Thank you for the great tips and debrief. Your third point makes complete sense to me

Congratz on your score! Your sharings are detailed and useful too. Since you mentioned you used Veritas products, did you do their CATs?

Congratulations russianaspirant. How did you improve on the timing front ? I am having trouble with the timing aspect on verbal especially on RC

Well If you ask me timing IS the biggest challenge that you will face on the GMAT. If you give the same test and ask people to do it in 5 hours, chances are high that everyone will be able to finish it but the challenge lies in finishing the test in the required time and at good accuracy levels.

Absolutely. I think that timing is what one should consider A LOT while preparing for the GMAT. In fact, that's the whole purpose of taking timed practice tests before the GMAT. They really help

Just shows that the gmac statement "you can improve only so many points from your diagnostic test ,,, etc etc " is not true for everyone

Agree with you but the GMAC is talking about averages. So they mean that people on an average improve by X points..There will be some people who will improve by 3X-4X points and some whose performance will actually go down on the actual GMAT

Instead of timing RC, CR, SC separately, I followed something else. I had milestones set for the time I'd take on 10 questions, then 20th question, 30th question. This way I am less stressed and in better flow

Congratulations on a great score. Scores such as yours are an inspiration for non-natives like me.

Well said. They are inspirational to all of us non-natives who find cracking verbal especially difficult
