Quant score 45 - Will it hurt me?

Scott or Omari, I have realized that getting in another application in before the round 2 deadline is not possible. Especially since the holidays are right around the corner. I would like your opinion on whether I should apply in round 3. Am I throwing my money away? Schools I would still like to apply are Stanford and/or Duke. I know these are highly selective schools so your honest opinion would be greatly appreciated. My profile is below.

Undergrad GPA: 3.82 - B.S. Economics (Weber State University)
GMAT: 710 (Q: 45 V: 41)

-3 years financial manager 10th Air Base Wing (USAF) - budget >$100 million

I know this is limited information to base your judgment on, but I am interested in your opinion because your insight so far in my application process has been invaluable.

Honestly, I do think that this is throwing money away, not because of your profile, but just because of the odds. If you were applying to lower-ranked schools, it might be different. But you're talking about the most selective (statistically) school in the country, and another one that's not too far behind. You may stand a chance with Fuqua, but Stanford would probably be a long shot.
