Dear All,
Hi @nishikak04, happy to give a few thoughts on your profile below...
I’m an Indian male, planning to apply for fall 2021. I will have 3 years of work experience by the time of matriculation, 1 year at a personal venture and 2 years at a Big4 as a consultant. I was working at my venture (in the manufacturing sector) in the last 2 years of my college if that can help support my application.
Prior qualifications- A dual degree in electrical engineering and management with a GPA of 3.02/4
GMAT score - 750.
I have a few volunteering experience while in college and have also co-led a few college clubs and events. Currently I volunteer at an education non-profit.
Target schools- Anderson, Fuqua, Darden, Ross, Stern, Tuck, Johnson, Said and HEC.
I can see you having a real shot at all these programs-- the key is doing the research on these schools now and having a narrative that weaves your past work to future post MBA goals. I don't see a post MBA goal here-- so in some ways that makes it hard to weigh in on your school selection without knowing that part-- but I think you have a good background for those schools although for European programs you are a bit shy on the work experience so many hold off another year there. But for the US programs you have selected programs where you GMAT will at least open the door and then it is up to you to do the research on why MBA and why X school and connect the dots of past and future. That's where admissions consultants can help so if you do want to reach out for a free consult to learn more about how we can help you on that please do. But otherwise I'd say it is great to have the score now that you need so you can focus the next few months on school research!
Want to know where do I have a shot at and if my targets are realistic.
Thanks.
