Hey all, first of all thanks in advance to anyone who replies to this, my first post on GMAT Club! Ive just received the result of my first attempt on the online GMAT - a 670 - this came after completting the
TTP course and taking 5 practice exams in the weeks leading up to the exam with scroes ranging from 710-730, I also took several practice exams earlier in my study period, in total ive been prearing for around half a year now though quite inefficiently for the first half of that, for some more context see a breakdown of all of my practice exams (all are official GMAT practice tests from MBA . com) below - I have noted "attempt 2" for any where I reset the exam for a second attempt which the app allows you to do once for reach practice test:
Exams Date Attempt # Order Score (%) IR Quant Verbal
Exam 1 29/09 2 Q/V/IR 720 (94) 8 (93) 47 (63) 41 (94)
Exam 2 03/10 2 Q/V/IR 710 (91) 8 (93) 47 (63) 41 (94)
Exam 3 05/10 2 Q/V/IR 730 (96) 8 (93) 46 (60 45 (99)
Exam 5 07/10 1 Q/V/IR 720 (94) 5 (55) 48 (69) 42 (96)
Exam 4 08/10 2 Q/V/IR 730 (96) 4 (40) 50 (86) 39 (89)
GMAT 10/10 1 Q/V/IR 670 (80) 6 (66) 39 (33) 44 (98)
My aim is to get atleast a 700 as I am plannning to appply for LBS in round 2 and as such I have booked a retake in 4 weeks time
Im hoping the big drop in quant from my practicse tests to test day may have been somewhat to do with nerves as it was the firt section but ofcourse I want to be well prepared enough to hit my score even if those nerves strike again. Unfortuantely the online exam does not provide ESR so Im a little blind in terms of feedback from the exam.
Ive currently got a study plan which
TTP have kndly provided to me (highly recommend the course btw for anyone reading) for the next 4 weeks based on drilling Quant questions from the
OG guide and meticulously combing through them for weaknesses as well as a mock test each Saturday morning
Any other advice which might be worth me following??
