I was expecting it, but still doesn't feel too good! Good luck to the rest of you waiting.

I was under the impression that Kellogg only released results on Tuesdays and Fridays - the status page on the Kellogg seemed to indicate that this was the case. I guess I was wrong.

They release throughout the week - just look at admissions411. The majority seem to hit towards the end of the week. I figure that at this point, I must be waitlisted. I guess what I dont understand is why they dont release that information now - surely, my app has been read and decided upon.

Whats your status say?

Mine still says "All the required elements of your application are complete." bla bla...

Rolling admissions sucks balls you ask me.

Late to the party... R1, Male, white, software engineer, 750gmat, 3.72gpa from state school. Strong performance at major software company. I also fear that I am doomed to wait until Jan 8th :(

How do you come to this conclusion? Theyve been sending out acceptances and denials for weeks.

yep. ding..

Well, I'll wait and see since I have 3 others... coming up soon...MIT, Stanford and HAAs...

A friend of mine, with 770 GMAT score, a 3.95 GPA Caltech Bach and Masters, Indian, got dinged as well.

I always wonder the criteria for creating their classes for 2009?

I mean there are numerous ppl with stellar skills in all domains and still get dinged. The committee just wants a varied class, even if it means dinging a truly all round stellar candidate.

You know, this reminds me a bit of a girl I used to know back during my undergraduate applications. She was stellar all around - I'm talking enough college level credits to skip all of her entire freshman year at any US university, top of her class, 1500 something SAT (back when the max was 1600), etc. She applied everywhere and got rejected across the board - only got in at Cornell. We never figured it out.

Hindustan, sorry to hear about the ding.

I guess that only leaves me and flapjack hoping in R1.

So what do you think flapjack - either of us have a chance?
