Hi oscarmishra,
I'm sorry to hear about the technical issues that you faced on Test Day; they almost certainly did impact your mindset during the Exam - and that might be enough to explain the overall drop in your Score. From a technical standpoint, it sounds as though you completed the Exam though; if you did not actually 'lose' any significant time from any of the sections, then it's possible that you might not receive any type of compensation. From everything that you have described, retesting is the proper choice (regardless of how you go about doing so).
In the meantime, you can (and probably should) continue with some light study and review (to keep your overall Test-taking skills sharp).
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Hi Rich. Thanks for your encouragement. I have decided to re-attempt as soon as the 16 day cool off period is up.
I'm not doing anything new in the meantime, just analysing what I've previously done incorrectly from the
OG.
To answer your questions:
1. I had studied for approximately 3 months. 2 hours on weekdays and 5 hours on weekends. But I had a good base even before taking up GMAT as I had prepared(and cleared)for other competitive exams before.
2 & 3. Took the first official mock without any prep and scored 640, three months back. (670 on actual GMAT hurts more because of this).
Took 5 official mocks in total. The last one 3 days before my actual GMAT.(scored 740). Had kept one official mock unattempted just for a scenario like this.
Also attempted free mocks of Veritas and manhatten, but in my free time at work. So not exactly in an exam setting.
Kept a gap of 2 to 3 weeks in the official mocks.
My wife had actually scored 770 in two official mocks so a 750 in the actual GMAT is also a downgrade for her I guess.(but she's happy with it)
Material:
OG 2022,
Magoosh (I don't recommend it for Verbal at all but quant videos were good), YouTube webinars on specific concepts. Saw a video of Erika John on modifiers which improved my score instantly. Aditya Kumar's webinar on Inequalities was amazing. Took a free trial of EmpowerGMAT also. My takeaway from those 5 days of free trial were triage and ladder technique on CR questions.
We can connect more once I go through the re-attempt and hopefully have a better score.
