If 15 is a factor of 25N², which of the following must be a factor of N?

I. 3

III. 75

(C) II only
(D) I and II only
(E) I and III only

If 15 is a factor of 25N², then it could be the case that N = √3, because that would mean 25N² = 25(√3)² = 25(3) = 75, and 15 is a factor of 75.

If N = √3, then none of the possible values (3, 5 or 75) are factors of N

The most important observation here is that we don't know anything about N i.e. N may be a non-integer value as well hence none of the given values are essentially factors of N hence

Answer: Option A
