What do you think "late in the game" means? I interviewed in Mid November...
Let me preface this by saying I'm an applicant just like everyone else and I basically have too much time on my hands right now, since work doesn't start up again till Monday.
I'm guessing if you interviewed before thanksgiving then your app has definitely been read. I personally interviewed in early-mid October. Based on that I'm guessing we're both a 'fit' for Kellogg but maybe not the perfect fit, so I'm guessing they're either really splitting hairs with our applications, or they've already WL'ed us but not told us about it ...
Then again, I'm not a mind reader of the AdCom and I don't want to give anyone the impression that I have any insight into what they're thinking.
Hi all. Was talking to one of the Kellogg student AdCom members during break, and basically the reading process is totally random. Each reader gets assigned a certain batch of applications and they typically randomly pick which one to read (i.e. they click your link randomly from a random list). Thus, when they say the reading process is random, they mean that its completely random.
Nothing to read into. Good luck all! You're literally within a week away.
