Congrats everyone that got in, when I first started studying for GMAT, UCLA was my top goal, it's a great school. Then when I scored 770, I was very confident I could get in. When I went to the Anderson info session, <rant> I will be very honest with you, the student panel was a joke, they were interested in 3 things: partying, partying, and money. I thought surely I qualify if these are 3 typical students. </rant>
I think my crappy work experience and age (33) are killing me. Not sure what to do now...
I feel your pain...although I think just being a male engineer is enough of a non-diversity factor.
I am actually pretty surprised that rjacobs got waitlisted. Stanford interview and UCLA waitlist seems odd to me.
