Wow. Well good luck for R2! Do we have any board representation from UCLA? It doesn't seem like we do, I'd love to find out when they will start rolling out their decisions.

Thanks. I'm not too confident, especially based on my stats...UCLA was pretty much a hail mary I threw up. I'm a more realistic candidate (I hope!) at Georgetown, UNC, Duke and Wake Forest

Omne, that's really frustrating... Did you ask him/her why they decided to submit it so late?

I wonder when they will start releasing decisions... You would think if they didn't receive as many for R1 as they anticipated, and their deadline was much earlier, that would equate to at least before Christmas... I hope!

somehow I got unsubscribed from this thread, but last year they released a good number of admits right before Xmas break. Meaning this year it's probably around 12/19 or 12/22 depending on when their offices close for the Holidays.

67% interview invites eh? Go GMATClub!!!

I'd be very happy to get something before christmas...make my life easier as I'll have some certainty in my life. I feel like I'm in limbo right now. I can't really plan for longer than 6 months because of this whole b-school thing.

Hello All

I've been following these boards for a short time now, and I wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts. I think UCLA-Anderson is tops in the area and from sitting in a on a class, I could really tell how passionate the students/faculty were.

I was recently admitted to the FEMBA (part time) program. Does anyone have additional insight into how well this program compares to the full time program? I understand the obvious comparison (the full time program caters to those looking for new career paths)

I believe that the profs. are common for both programs, and the career services department is made available to part-time students in the third year. Not sure how well this department is utilized by FEMBA students, though (I've only talked to first and second year students). Perhaps some of you out there have additional experiences to share?

Not too familiar with UCLA part-time, but I think it usually ranks pretty high in the BW part-time program (that's probably a good sign right :P)...

If you can do on-campus recruiting, good for part-time. Probably a little worse for full-time because of the extra competition :).

Last year it was 12/21, I believe this year it'll be 12/19. So after Friday some people would have heard, otherwise it'll be next year.

Kryzak, I was wondering if most heard after the holidays last year? I couldn't tell by last year's thread - it looks like only a handful heard before the holidays based on gmatclub.

So I just checked my e-mail before leaving work, and found an e-mail from UCLA! So excited!!! And I opened it, and it was...

...a christmas card.

Like, I appreciate the sentiment, but I think they didn't really think that one out all the way

They are working day in and day out to send those cards before the holidays. I also 2 of those cards. Wish they put the same effort in deciding what to do with apps....

from what I know, rumor had it that only a small percentage (who knows, maybe 20-30%?) of applicants were admitted right before Xmas (meaning, tomorrow). The rest were admitted on the regular decision deadline date.
