Hi Linda,

I would like to get into a PART TIME / EXEC MBA program in Fall 2005. Here is a peek at my profile:

Nationality: Indian

GMAT: 700 (47 Q, 39 V)

Undergraduate School: Regional Engg College

Undergraduate GPA: 71 out of 100, Passed with Honors

Work Experience:

Seven years as IT consultant

Extracurricular:
I am the manager of a cricket team which is part of a non-profit organization. I have played an active role in the development of this organization. Did similar things during my undergrad as well.

I would like to apply to Wharton, Berkeley.

Given my nationality, what are my chances at these schools? Any positive feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also, should I retake GMAT.

You have a competitive profile for both schools' part-time program. You may be a little young/inexperienced for the EMBA. programs.

What percentile is your GMAT verbal score?

Thank you for your quick response.

Verbal - 39 (89 Percentile)

Wharton does not have a part time program. All they have is an Exec MBA program in SFO.

Your academic stats are competitive for Wharton's EMBA program. I am a little concerned that you have less work experience than the norm, but it certainly isn't so low that I would discourage you from applying. Show that you've done in seven years what it takes most to do in ten.

If you are looking for PT or Exec programs in CA I would also consider UCLA and USC.
