Are you doing the 1000SC ?

That's awesome that you are consistently getting 95%-100% in CR & RC. Well done.
Don't forget quant section. Its very important to be in touch with quant techniques, which you have learnt over the course of 2 months.

Every morning, before going to work, i go through GMATclubs Maths book. It helps. At least gives me a confidence.

No as i mentioned before i will not go through 1000SC because of negative comments by other users.
I have started OG12 (again) but this time focus is more on explanations provided by different users such as Lunarpower, daag etc.

did you do RC99 and CR100 from Aristotle?

Thanks. Yeah it would not be wise to focus and increase SC only to see that Q has decreased correspondingly.
Do you have any advice for math material? I've exhausted all my books, I'd rather focus on improving the basics at 600-750 level than spending time doing 700-800-level questions not likely to show up on GMAT.

I think the decision regarding 1000SC is wise, I'm sticking on the same path :-).

As for RC99 and CR100, I haven't used them, I'm kind of used to read scientific journals and english novels so it wouldn't make much sense to get RC99, at least for me.

I have bought GMAThacks 10 sets of 100 questions. But if i were you i will buy GMAThack's Ps & DS set. And still if you have some time left then go through GMATclubs M01 till M05. I'm confident you will achieve what you aim for.

I have used GmatHack's material and it has improved my score from Q35 to Q48.

what was your hit rate % on Aristotle's SC questions?

My G day is on 28th March 2011.

Lots of questions :-). I just found out that I could borrow Nova Math Bible from a friend, so I'll propably stick to that one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/188905 ... 1889057509). The book has classified problems after diffiulty which is great.

I was propably around 75%ish correct in Aristotle. I'm going to go through the questions again tonight or tomorrow.
I don't remember most of the questions so it is still good practice. I learn new things every time so.

I've just had an exam in school so I will have the time for studying 24/7 % for the coming 11 days.

I'm thinking of going through Aristotle day 1, Manhattan SC day 2, Aristotle day 3 and so on until I've learned most of the concepts being taught. Shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours (max) to go through each book since I've already spent some time with them and know the basics. Then I'll do 30-50 SC or so and spend the rest of the time practice quant.

Sounds good to me. How about SC questions? what source will you use?

I just went thru the Barrons GRE wordlist (I gave GRE 10 yrs ago with 640/800 in verbal), I find it really smooths the RC maze, as you start getting the tougher passages.

Are you using OG10? 250SC quality questions, some duplicates to OG11 and 12 though, but a lot new to me.

I've sent you a PM.

Do you think it's a good idea to save questions when you are uncertain and go through them again?

My current strategy is to save all questions where I'm wrong or in doubt and go through them until I'm certain what's wrong with all alternatives.

I'd definitely suggest to keep going through the problems- incorrectly answered/took too long to solve-as many times leading up to your test. Also, try to solve few questions using GMAT flash cards from GMAT Club. This would definitely help.

Here you go -

I was informed that this guys explanations are THE best for SC.
OG12 + lunarpower explanation.

follow him at btg.

I will be more than happy if i could start hitting 75% correct on SCs.

Hey thanks for the link.

Yes i agree with RK1, If i were you i will go through all my incorrect questions after every 2 days. Also to look for similar kind of questions on this website.

You got 10 days to go, so its bit difficult to say what to do, as i am still far from being in your situation.
Are you planning to write 3-4 Mock test before G day?

Okay, I'm doing a lot better now, I had 6 or 7 incorrect out of the first 80 questions in OG10. I don't know if they'll get harder but I guess I'll find out.
I recognize some questions but can't remember the answers so it is all good.

Starting tomorrow or Monday I'll write a couple of AWA-essays for practice (using the famous template here) and thereafter do two full tests, propably Wednesday and Friday (exam on Tuesday after the weekend).

I'm kind of used to sit for long hours in school, the exams usually last for 4-6 hours, but they arent as stressing as the GMAT. Two full tests should help me prepare a little more for the GMAT.

Hey did you have any timing issue in your last exam.

Yesterday, I did MGMAT02, and scored Q46 V30 :((
Main issue was timing.
In quant i managed to do only 30 questions, and for rest i just guessed and clicked on to reach the finish line.
It was similar story in verbal part. I managed only 32 questions, and again i clicked my way to dismal end to my test.
On SC my hit rate was around 60% and for RC & CR it was around 70-72%.
I'm disappointed with my score but still i have some time to fix my verbal score & timing issue.

Hey Mackieman - how's your timing in MGMAT/Gprep?

any suggestions and tips are welcomed :)

Have you had any timing issues before? In GMAT or MGMAT tests?

In my first GMATPrep I only did 28Q out of 37, didn't even guess on the last ones, basically I was out of time already at 25th question.
Second test I made some qualified guesses on the last 3 questions and my third test I could complete all the questions.
