Thanks for the feedback, Jennifer! I definitely appreciate your honesty. Would I be able to leverage the multiple rotations I have done within our Advisory practice to portray a portrait of someone who is motivated and constantly looking for new challenges or is this just wishful thinking?

And on an unrelated note, I've been reading about Brand Management and have really taken a liking to it. Would you happen to know if this would be a career available to someone without marketing work experience. Even though I may not be in the riskiest profession, those of us in public accounting definitely have the working in teams and working under pressure parts down pat!

If the rotations offered you opportunities to take on new roles, guide clients in taking new risks, and lead larger teams, then yes, they could help your application. To demonstrate that you are motivated and constantly pursuing new challenges, you will have to share examples of you seeking those challenges (how hidden were they? how doubtful were others that the opportunities existed? how did you overcome their skepticism? what impact were you able to make as a result of your initiative? The answers to these questions are what will demonstrate that you have that risk-taking personality after all!)
After an MBA, yes, you could make the move to Marketing/Brand Management, especially if you pursue an internship in the field between years 1 and 2.
