Sandeepmba:
Thanks for the excellent detail you provided in your initial post.
To answer your questions very directly:
1 - No you should not wait. You have been working for 5 years now and that is enough for any top business school programs.
2 - I am not sure you consider your undergraduate performance to be so weak. I guess the ultimate test will be to see whether or not you received any type of first class distinction. The important thing about undergraduate scores is how relative they are. So where you in the top percentile of the bottom? it is all relative. of course, if you nail the GMAT then I do think that you should apply to top 25 MBA programs. I think that you are underestimating your prospects.
3 - I would look into other European programs that will value your years of work experience and then have an international emphasis. I am a big fan of the Oxford and Cambridge programs. I suggest you look there.
respectfully,
Paul Lanzillotti

In general I need your comments on my profile and also timing and the schools to target. In specific, if you can, please answer to my below concerns.
1. Should you think I should wait to get my MBA?
2. As of now, I have short listed schools like SDA Bacconi (Italy), Rotman (Canada), Sauder (British Columbia), Carlson ( Minnesota)? All of these schools, I know are good but not even near TOP 20 globally. Do you think if I work on my profile and put my best foot forward during applications, I can start targeting top 20 global B-schools?
3. Can you please suggest some schools which may suit my profile?
Thanks in advance.
