Re: Profile Evaluation - Indian Female 760 GMAT [#permalink]
Thanks Jen for your feedback.

I was planning to have a mix of school as follows: Kellogg, Ross, Anderson, Kenan Flagler, McCombs, NUS, Rotman, ISB

Let me know if it sounds realistic as per my credentials.

Hi Gursheen,

I think your list sounds appropriate given your credentials, sure thing. Kellogg will be the most challenging but always nice to include a challenge; Anderson is also pretty selective in terms of acceptance rate. The biggest challenge will be-- do you plan to apply to all of those. I won't say it's impossible, but 3-4 schools is common... sometimes up to 6.... just be careful not to sacrifice QUALITY of your apps for pure quantity... you do need to tailor each app and set of essays to each school, which can take time. Each application should look like it's the ONLY one you submit ;).... to that school, it is!! Also keep in mind you'll need that many letters of rec too! ;)

I am excited for you thought for this process!

Hi Jen,

Thanks for your feedback!

I understand the amount of effort which would go in, which is making me think that I should probably reduce the number of schools I am targeting (maybe come down to 6). I started off with a 9 but it seems slightly impossible now :S

Top 6 for me would be: Kellogg, Ross, NUS, Kenan Flagler, Rotman, ISB

First 3 in R1 and rest in R2.I hope that works out for me :D
