Hi everyone. I'm hoping to attend INSEAD for September '17 intake. Fully aware of my sub-average GPA, but trying to stay optimistic.

Here are my stats:

Academics:
GPA: 2.5 (UC Davis)
GMAT: 690

Work Experience:
6 years in Tech
Currently working at Salesforce

Hey there

With a software services background and a GPA of 2.5, you should be looking at a higher GMAT score to be more competitive at INSEAD. Would love to know more about your profile, though (leadership experiences, work abroad, ECA) to be able to make a deeper assessment though.

Thanks for sharing.

The combination of relatively lower GPA/GMAT is a concern when your academic potential is evaluated. Seriously consider retaking the GMAT, especially as Americans are one of the more well-represented groups at INSEAD. Thus, you would have to distinguish yourself from other accomplished American candidates. Strong essays would help to some extent, you would have to present unique contributions you can bring to INSEAD.

All the best!
