Also, once we confirm plural pronoun "they" to singular "it" , the related plural verb "travel" should also be converted to singular "travels"

Here " which is s a South ......eats" is a Modifier, which is modifying The sloth.

If we remove the modifier we get- "The sloth, live in...."
Here sloth is a singular subject hence by using "Subject-Verb agreement" the answer is wrong and lives should replace live.

B) Same as A

C) Correct

D) They - ambiguous. "they" is referring to same South American mammal related to armadillo of anteater i.e The Sloth.

E) " In relation to" gives a sense of comparison which impacts the meaning of the sentence.
Also, Noun-form is not prefered in Gmat.
