The answer given for this question is option 1. But I feel it is wrong and the answer should be 2 can you please clarify with reasons

IMHO (A) as well

We are presented the following information -

Sales dip ↓ 10%
Consumption / Storage ↑ from 75% to 90%

This means that the items are consumed at a much slower pace given the premises "Warning of health concern by the Govt ", further the word " Average rate of consumption " solidifies the reasoning....

Hence (A) fits well , rather than (B)
