Agreed, what a great surprise. I was a bit down after my Tuck ding Friday, but am so glad to have gotten into a school which is a much better fit for me. Good luck to everyone that hasn't heard yet, don't give up hope!

Got admission email this morning, received a call from UCLA just now offering scholarship of $50,000. Such a great news for holiday!!

I just returned the Associate Dean's call and he relayed the information that I'm being offered a fellowship. So it looks like this is how they are notifying people of fellowship amounts.


FYI, I interviewed on-campus in the beginning of November.

Congrats guys, those are some solid scholarships. I'll be hoping for a good one as well, but won't be completely disappointed if I don't get one. I achieved my main goal of getting into school!!

Did the Associate Dean indicate anything about a fellowship or ask you to call back in the voicemail? Just wondering because I missed my adcom call but she didn't mention anything about a fellowship in her voicemail.

No, no mention of the fellowship in the voicemail. He basically just congratulated me, introduced himself, gave his call-back number, and asked me to call him back when I had a chance.

Interview date 11/28. Recommenders disappeared. I got a call but didn't hear anything about scholarship and didn't ask them either. I will call them tomorrow if I don't receive any email about scholarship today.

Congrats everyone!! I'm in too, interviewed via skype in November and got the call from the dean ($80K fellowship, I'm in shock). Now it's decision time. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear!!

Just called adcom. They are still evaluating admitted candidates for fellowships. They will send out fellowship emails shortly.
