Waitlist ! Will see what I can do about it ...

I called, no waitlist consultations until January. So, either we can wait until then or be proactive (i.e. reschedule GMAT, get promotions or take more coursework).

Any waitlisters got any calls from Admission Officers from Anderson yet?

Re: Calling all Anderson(UCLA) FEMBA 2013 Applicants! [#permalink]
I have been accepted to USC Marshall MBA.PM with my $2,500 deposit due on 3/1/2013. I had my waitlist consultation with UCLA FEMBA in early January; they stated that if I had something in my application change that they might review my application prior to the R2 deadline. So, I signed up for the June CFA exam in hopes that it would have a bearing on my application.

If I don't hear from UCLA until 3/29/2013 then I'll have passed my deposit deadline for USC. Do you think I should approach UCLA and ask them to review my application before 3/1/2013 so that I can get a decision before my USC deposit is due? I really don't want to for over $2,500 to USC and then be admitted to UCLA.

Please Help!!!

Just got an invite for an interview on Jan 26 - Super Saturday.
Can anyone share what kind of questions they ask at UCLA?

Nothing that I can think of to help this predicament. My deadline to accept USC is TODAY and I am also on the waitlist of UCLA which will as you said get only reviewed with R2. I did ask them if they do like a rolling decisions , but the answer is no. The decision will be on R2 decision date - Yes , no or again waitlist. I guess I will have to think I will have to say goodbye to 2500 and put it in my education cost !

From what I gathered, you can get off the waitlist before hand if anything in your application changes.

Did call UCLA and tell them about being accepted to USC and the deposit? If no, did you think about it and why did you decide not to?

Hi - It is going to be a very informal interview (Atleast mine was). Most of it will be related to your work experience. Some of it will be around how an MBA will help your career, your goals, your strengths and your weaknesses. Typical questions. I really liked the interview process and i also love the fact that Anderson provides an opportunity for every single candidate to interview with the admissions team. You'll enjoy the process. :-)

I'll be there. From speaking with the admissions people at Anderson, it's going to be a blind interview. So, expect it to revolve mostly around your resume and your motivations for getting an MBA.

I plan on wearing a suit. Business casual is usually khakis and a sweater.

Current FEMBA here, I highly recommend a suit. You will most likely be interviewing with either a current student or an alum.

Well, I just finished the FEMBA interview. Nice people in general and the current students couldn't say enough good things about the program. Good luck everyone else.

Any updates from people who attended the "Super Saturday" interview? I had an amazing experience, and just noticed that my application status changed to "Being reviewed by the admissions committee".
