Hi, I'm applying for the September 2018 intake at IE. I'm applying for both the IMBA and the dual IMBA & MAF. Is anyone else applying for this dual degree? I'm curious what other peoples thoughts on it are, how the interview was, and what peoples backgrounds and future aspirations are with this degree. I am planning to go entrepreneurship afterwards and am trying to figure out if the dual degree is suited for my goals or if it's really geared for people who plan work in the financial industry. Thanks!

Hello Teri,

For you entrepreneurial aspirations, I don't see how MAF would help. In MBA itself you will get more than enough opportunity to test out you ideas. MBA has two core periods, a lab and an elective period.

In both the core period there are courses related to start-ups.
The lab is completely dedicated for start-up.
then venture lab. Then business plan ...

Rest is your call.

Hi,
I am gearing up to apply for the IMBA program. I scored a 680 on GMAT recently and am anxious if it will turn out to a good enough score. I do carry 7 years of work exp in IT & Consulting and want to put forth a well-rounded application highlighting my international job experience and intrapreneurial background. Looking forward to learning from my peers here and share my own experiences of the application process.

Hello! I had my interview on Monday. They told me I should wait 2 weeks to hear from their decision. Really nervous right now.

Don't be nervous since you have done your best. Also, IE has much short decision period.

I also had two interviews, the second was just a short recap and was about 15-20 mins.
