hi all,
- undergraduate in business from top1 internationally known university in germany (LMU Munich); its business school ranks top3 each year for undergraduate in germany
- undergraduate grade is 2,3 ("good" in german system (1-5 grade, 1.0 is the best).
according to
https://www.ssag.de/studying-in-germany/ ... ny/grades/and
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_g ... in_Germanythis roughly translates into an "A-" which further "translates" into a ~ 3.7 GPA.
But this cant be true, since im only 50% class rank, my "ECTS"-grade (european credit transfer system) is only "C". I guess you cannot compare ECTS grades with the US letter grades, but still a 3.7 GPA sounds far too for me.
Should I just leave my german grade unchanged? Should I include my ECTS grade (C)? It is on a extra page of my degree certificate, so I could easily exclude it. But then the school has no class rank indication. Is class rank indication a must?
Thank you very much for any help. Im sweating a little bit about this, since I always read undergraduate is more important than postgraduate GPA (I have top10% MSc), so im worried about my bachelors gpa.
THANKS
