Linda, thanks for response.

would you be kind enough to explain following -
1. You certainly have a chance in the top ten
although I don' t see HBS in your future.
Question - As a matter of fact, i was hoping to get
through in HBS! In your opinion, which trait do i
lack which hinders my admission in HBS?

2. If your GMAT is more mid-600 than over 700, you
are over-reaching.
Question - Sorry but could not make head or tail out
of this line  Pls elaborate

"I will succeed no matter what"

Lethe,

1) As I said you have a chance at all, but the reason I was pessimistic about HBS isn't so much because of a specific deficiency in your profile, but because the competition among Indians in the IT industry is so fierce and your expected GMAT is low for that group. Given that HBS values diversity and cannot admit all the talented Indian high-tech professionals that apply, someone with a lower-than-average GMAT for that group is at a disadvantage.

2) My apologies. If your GMAT is closer ot 650 than 700, I think your chances in the top ten are poor. To the extent your GMAT is closer to or over 700, your chances in the top 10 are better. I hope this is clearer.

Good luck!
