[quote="EMPOWERgmatRichC"]Hi mynamegoeson,
First off, a 630/Q47 is a strong score (it's just a bit shy of the 80th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest might not be necessary. Depending on the Schools you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admission ... tants-124/Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so since you studied for just about 6-7 weeks, that might help to explain why you did not score higher. From what you have described, you took the GMAT at the end of February - and that was 5 months ago. Thus, while there is still some valuable information in this ESR, it might not be a great way to assess your current skills, strengths and weaknesses. As such, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:quote]
