Can someone tell me what the ideal word limit for the one-page motivation letter is?

Hey! it's usually 400-450 words but not exceeding one page on MS Word is a good marker.
You can contact Essec directly as well to be sure, they usually reply in 2-3 days. I urge you to hurry up if you're planning on applying for R1

I'm guessing it's the usual stuff like strengths, weaknesses, leadership potential. And rating you on a few skills.

Hey peeps,

Due to medical reasons, I might have to postpone application to R3. Are the pros and cons that apply to R3 MBAs similar to R3 MiMs, especially to ESSEC and similar French programs?

All the best to all

Hi!

As per the admissions team at ESSEC, there is no additional pros or cons if you apply in R3 instead of R2 or R1, except that you would not be eligible for certain scholarships available to only those who apply by R1 (such as Eiffel Scholarship).

There is no specific word limit but it shouldn't exceed one page.

Assuming you would make the document with proper margins and font size, I would say around 650-750 is pretty much it.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the info! May I know what the expected margins, font size, and spacing are?

Hi, I’m really tensed. Even though my mocks went good, I managed to get only 640 in my gmat. Could anyone pls recommend if I should apply with 640 in R1 or 690-710 in R2?

In my opinion, R2. If you’re confident to get it cross 680-690

They recommend 680+

Oh alright thanks! Btw is it really true that missing R1 decreases your chances of getting admit at a drastic level?

Also, is there a way to get my profile evaluated by those essec officials, before I submit my application..?
