It was nothing different . I had practiced giving mocks in a similar setting of isolation in the same room at a go so it felt very natural . The connectivity was not a huge concern per se so yeah

Many people are comfortable in known surroundings , I don’t have any preference as such

Also can you advise me with some tips on what to put in the additional information essay and how to make it differ from SOP

Hey everyone, I gave my GMAT a while back but still havent recieved the official score report from them due to delays on their side .The rest of my application is complete and the score is anyway available on the gmac site.DO you think ESSEC Adcom will make any accomodations. I really wanted to make R1 and this just sucks

For online GMAT there is no downloadable score report . So I had just taken a screenshot of my score and uploaded that

Also is there no other way of submitting scores other than the official paid method. Can’t we submit some proof etc?

Yes I think you get a downloadable report in under 20 days for offline exam

ESSEC is asking which other colleges I am applying to . I am only applying to ESSEC in this round but might apply to others in the future.What do you guys think I should put

Hi.

Just saw some of the previous messages. And I’d like to really emphasise here that regarding the gmat score, ESSEC doesn’t reveal the average scores and they always specifically mention that a high GMAT score always helps but a low gmat score isn’t always a deal breaker either. It’s your overall profile - everything that you’ve done so far, your GPA, your extra-curricular activities, your volunteering experiences, your professional highlights if any, the LORs, and definitely your motivation and essays. In the webinars that ESSEC has had in the past, they’ve mentioned many times how there are students with a 650 gmat as well as those with a 780.

You could simply mention N/A (Not applicable) and mention you’re only applying at ESSEC. That’s all. OR, if you’re sure you’d apply to other colleges, mention the names. Please bear in mind those colleges to be in the same league as ESSEC.

Not really. There are a couple of student testimonials where a lot of students have mentioned how they had ONLY applied at ESSEC.

And in turn you could portray how ESSEC is the only place you’d want to be at :)

really depends on how you present it in the end.

You could obviously mention some other French schools such as HEC or ESCP to be on a safer side if you think it might reflect poorly on you (in case you do not mention any other school).
