Sorry - the problem was on our side. Our bad. The only person who knew how to do it could not get online until 0:30 AM Pacific, so we'll keep the tests open till the same time tomorrow.

Thank you for your interest and hope the wait was not too long - again apologies; hoping the 25 butt-whooping tests will make up for that :-D

Hi. After the free access day is over you will not be able to review your results or questions you have covered so please save the results and anything else you need to cover.

Good luck on the 4th!

ok so my next question is, what is the purpose of hosting a test which is beyond the difficulty of the actual test?

I would suggest that you do not take it if you have to ask that question. I would recommend that you do half the work and hope for the best on the test day :-)
I assume you are playing devil's advocate.... The point is to strain you beyond what you may encounter on the test day. Similar to how may be done in training/competition/etc - you want to make it hard on you in training/preparation so that you would have

The idea is to prepare you to the unexpected, which happens quite a bit past the 700/Q50 level - you encounter questions never seen before that you are not prepared for.
So the questions that you will encounter in the GMAT Club test will be on average harder (none of them are out of the scope), so on average you will get 30 700+ level questions and 7 600-700 level questions whereas in the GMAT Prep you will see a few questions that are 500-level, and 10 or so that are 600-700 level, and only about 20-25 questions that are 700+ level.

Also, on the GMAT Prep if you are not getting Q50, you will be getting quite a few more of the 600-700 level questions. GMAT Club tests mostly have 700-level questions, so even if you are scoring Q45, you will still get "bombarded" with more difficulty questions. That's why I would not recommend these tests to someone who is not at Q40 or even 45 level.

God!! I finally figured it out. The whole button "Start Quant Test" does not work. You have to click somewhere try close to the "S" of "start". Atleast that is what worked for me. I tried couple of times hitting elsewhere and hitting "S" always worked. :) Whatever works!!

I was doing the analysis of the GMAT Club Quant CAT I completed today.

One q - Does the Quant CAT Analysis page - does not give you the answer choice you picked? It is saying that "Your answer was incorrect", but I can't see what I picked, especially for data sufficiency - I thought it would be good to know. Not sure if I am missing anything here.

Thanks

Hi Guys - I am sorry something did not click, and the tests-beta did not open up at midnight (https://gmatclub.com/tests seem to have opened correctly).
I have checked and both are open at the moment.

I am very sorry about this - we have extended access for 11 hours as the result. The tests will be open until 11 AM PST on the 28th of November.

Very sorry about this :(

I gave my free GMAT club verbal mock and scored 38/51....how can i compare it with original GMAT exam....what deviation will i get in the score of GMAT.....i'm targetting a score of atleast 38 in original GMAT so how does this CAT score reflects on that

Just FYI - you should not take the "free tests" - that's the worst decision you can make since all CATs and Quizzes are free.
You want to take the PAID tests that happen to be free :|

Thanks a lot but my question was how close are verbal CATS to the real GMAT. What is the approximate deviation in the score??
