So this is one of the questions from princton reveiw's drills on decimals.

Question:divide 19.6 by 3.22(rounded to the nearest hundred)

What am i supposed to do in this question?

The answer they have given is 6.09

For GMAT, all you need to observe here is that this will be less than 20/3 = 6.67 i.e. it will be about 6.
You approximate 19.6 to 20 and 3.22 to 3 but remember that the overall value will be less than what you obtain by dividing 20 by 3.

I assume that the drill's only purpose is to help you practice how to calculate with decimals. For example, you might need to do something like this in GMAT:
700/3.5
You should be able to arrive at 200 here by multiplying and dividing the fraction by 10.

1960/322 = 980/160 = 98/16 = 6.something (def less than 0.5)
You'll never have close values in GMAT
