How I Improve my Verbal Score From V26 to V41 [#permalink]
jatin0705 wrote:
Hi,

I am from india and I found the verbal section of GMAT very tiring in the beginning. I used to score roughly in the range of 26-28. What worked for me was the segmentation of verbal in 3 sections (CR, RC, SC). I started working on CR as this section is less of english grammer or rules and more of reasoning. E-GMAT online free webinar helped a lot in this. Once I started scoring good in CR, the score in RC also started improving as a lot of questions in RC are around inference type. SC took some time to improve and I took e-gmat verbal online content, which helped me build basics and then I used veritas prep free videos to learn the tricks. Now i am able to score V41 consistently. The next target is to improve this till V43-44.

Thanks

Could you please tell the time frame for this score improvement- From v26 to v41. Any helpful strategies which you may have. I am in urgent need of advice. My gmat is less than a month away and on my 1st Mock test I got a V26. I am planning to analyze all the mistakes and then go through those topics and practice them, however I am concerned about the time factor.
