Hi,
You have two functions and you are asked to find function of the first function.
So substitute fx for x...
G(x)=2x+3...
F(x)=4x-1...
So g(f(x))=2(4x-1)+3=8x-2+3=8x+1...
If you look at the choices only A is in this format..
8*(-3)+1=-23....

f(x)=4x−1 and g(x)=2x+3

g(f(x)) = 2*f(x)+3 = 2*(4x-1)+3 = 8x+1 i.e. a Multiple of 8+1


Checking Options

-23 = 8*(-4)+1 hence CORRECT ANSWER

Answer: option A
