does receiving your invitation to interview earlier or later mean your chances are better/worse of ultimately being accepted?

No. I wouldn't worry about that. I've spoken to a few alums and applicants from previous rounds who confirm that the dates interviews are granted are pretty random and depend on a number of different factors (region, co-ordinator, time adcom reps reviewing applications take to conduct reviews etc.)

If you get an interview, you're on the same level as everyone else -but for all the distinguishing elements of your application of course.

All those who have gotten interview mails, how much time have they given you to coordinate with your interviewer... I am also waiting for a response from CT

I am on the same boat too Rinie442 and I am so going to retake it if they allow me...I am getting more and more nervous day by day now too!

Some answers to a few questions above:
- If you get an interview invite, your chances are equal to anyone elses. Date/time to interview invitation deadline doesn't matter.
- Interview invitations go out by email, not by phonecall
- Last year, there was a bit less than a month to schedule your interviews (Round 2 application)

i think there are a lot of us that are in the same boat. my AC is MP as well and it's been radio silence since she confirmed my app was complete.

Guys,

Can someone confirm if I need to take TOEFL ?

Native : India, had all my education in English including Engineering? Is there a need still? I was a bit confused with their wordings on the admissions page and A few people on this forum took TOEFL even though they had ENGLISH as their medium of study in Engineering. Can someone please specify?

Does having a good TOEFL score ?

Hi,
This is what their website says:

If English is not your native language
What if... ?
1) You have a university degree where all the courses were taught exclusively in English? You will not require further proof of proficiency. However, participation in an exchange programme without a degree from the host university will not qualify.
