I'm a R3 applicant, I was doing fine until I saw that some people are already getting their interview invites... now the anxiety has kicked in :)

Don't worry about the R3 interview calls, I am an applicant of R3 of the previous batch and I got my interview call on the last day

Pre-selected for interviews! (German, GMAT 710, 2y military, 2y consulting, 4y startups) :) Got the email 20min ago. Further interview details tbd. AO is AN. Guess I was wrong about the AO's waiting until the week of the deadline, so: buckle up, everyone! :)

No problem!
Total count is 408, 11 from Spain (9M/2F).

The number might still increase a little bit before it decreases. I saw someone being accepted off the waitlist today. However, after the 1st payment deadline for R2 admitted folks, this number is likely to come down to around 400 again. So I wouldn't focus too much on the exact total count, since we never know who might decline their offer.

does the email notification have anything to do when i submitted my application? my application was complete on july 25th... because I was waiting for a recommendation. does that mean I will hear back later than folks who completed their application earlier?

very anxiously waiting...checking email every 2 min almost..... -_-

H! My greetings to all admitted!

I read in this stream that one guy was specifically asked to share his essays directly with his interviewer. Did anybody else receive the same request? If not, did your interviewers show somehow that they had seen your essays?

Officially, time of submission does not matter. In fact, one of the AOs posted in this forum a few months ago that one has no advantage from submitting early. HOWEVER, I submitted one month before you (25th June) and got the invite yesterday. So it may relate to my early submission, after all. Hang in there, quite a few people are waiting together with you! Good luck!

Not at all in my case. I submitted on the deadline day and my application was delayed because my English proficiency claim which came later for a week after the deadline.

I hope you get the good news soon!

They are highly discouraged, but some ask for it anyways.. From all the admits I have spoken, 1 interviewer will be nice, 1 interview will be aggressive...
