% money saved=(Money saved/money spent if not shopped at the budget store)×100
money saved = (0.4a+0.2b+0.1c/a+b+c)100

from statement one we can express all A B C items in ratio with "a"
[0.4a+0.2(0.75a)+0.1(0.25a)](a+0.75a+0.25a)×100

hence a is sufficient.
