Hi all,
Thank you for visiting this post. I need some help with the valuation of my profile, chances of targeting MBA schools and required GMAT score
I just started GMAT preparation on positive note but recently I have gone through couple of threads regarding low GPA and career gap which caused me bit worry and not able to concentrate on GMAT preparation.
My profile:
I am from India and working as SAP IT consultant having 6 years of experience
Age:33
10th - 53%
Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering -80%
Engineering - JNTU, Hyderabad(Mechanical Engineering) - 75%
MS-UK (Applied computing ) - C grade
GMAT Target to write after 6 months
My Problem:
I have an abysmally low score in 10th and low GPA in Masters. after my degree in engineering I did Masters in IT, I felt difficult in subject change from Mechanical to computers which reflects poor GPA in masters. Apart from low GPA I have 2 years career gap.
Activitis:
I have participated around 4-5 community activities(Still participating) and have got 2 awards in professional career
Target Schools: Top10 Indian B schools (IIM's /ISB's./Others)
The bottom line: what are the chances of getting admission in MBA, how much GMAT score required for my profile and how else can I improve my profile?
which schools suits better for my profile?
I would like to hear your opinion on how I can proceed on this issue. Thanks in advance.
