McDonough 2012 - Calling All Applicants

I was R3 last year. The decision release date was on Friday, May 13th, and I got the call on that day. As far as I know, all other R3 admits also only got the call on the same day.

Then again, they admit a significantly lower number of students in R3, so there's a possibility that they will start calling earlier in R1 this year.

There is a rain of admits on the Kellogg thread. Considering the decisions deadline for Kellogg (19th), they have started rolling out admits pretty early. I wonder when McDonough will start rolling out their decisions!

Thanks for calling. Looking back at last year's thread, McDonough said the same thing then but then made calls a day before the 15th anyway. They told one person that they wanted to surprise admits. So we'll see. If anyone gets a call tomorrow please let us know.

I looked back at last year's thread and it seems like R1 decisions did not come out till mid-Jan!! Thanks goodness they pushed the schedule 1 month forward. Waiting is the worst!!

FYI I looked back to the 2010 thread to see if there is a trend in early admit calls...and they called applicants ON the decision day. Guess they were just lucky last year! Tomorrow can't come soon enough!!

Yes I looked back and only R1 last year got early calls and their decision date was on a Saturday.
