OG is sufficient for sentence correction

Hello guys, actually right now i am in the way of prepration for gmat and i have one question to ask how you guys ... please help me

Actually my main problem is SC ( i dont know weather really it is a problem) i am preparing from E-gmat and in egmat coure thr is a scholaranium from where i can practice SC. In scholaranium i always got stuch in the questions as well as in the options BUT when ever i just practice from OG i can easily solve most of the SC question (8 out of 10)

Please tell me doing SC from OG is sufficient for gmat exam ??
Because when ever i just do pratice from egmat i always got demotivated but not in the case of OG

Hi Isha

This depends on how much time you have at hand.

Egmat is great to clarify your concepts. If you are able to obtain at least 18/20 then you have mastered your concepts. In OG book, the hard level questions are only handful and you might not be prepared for what you see on test date. Factor in the stress you would be under as well.

If your GMAT is within a week, then just do question pack and OG questions as nothing beats official questions in run upto test date.

Official questions are best for practice. However OG doesnot have a lot of 700+ questions. You can practice from OG Question pack, EP1 and EP2 and GMAT prep questions.

I'd recommend the OG. Even the toughest questions on the exam test the same things that the easiest questions do. At least in the sense that there is no separate set of concepts used only in difficult questions. However, you could use non-official material to get greater familiarity with the concepts the GMAT tests. Just make sure you pick high quality material.
