Hey Hi,
From your score i would say that you mainly need help with the verbal section, I would advice you to have a look at E-Gmat, they have a 30 day trail with which you can see if the course suits you.
For verbal E-Gmat is the best option especially if your having trouble in the SC section. It really helped me improve my verbal score quite a bit after going through various material I found their course was really good.

You can read the following thread:-

Thanks GmatWizard -- I've signed up for their course and trying it out! Hopefully it'll help me stabilise my verbal score! Really appreciate the help!

Hello asl416 ...... welcome to the community.

To me there is no better bench marking exam than the GMAC Practice tests . Though is not 100% correct. The score can fluctuate +/- 30. I mentioned above as your scores at the two sections fluctuated too much V : 9 points & Q : 6 points - Not very normal . The issues I can think of are careless errors and/or poor time management .

If those are the the cases :
1. Practice mindfully.
2. Definitely analyze your ESR to pinpoint some weak areas and work on them rigorously .
& 3. Work on your timing strategy.

Hope this will stabilize and at the same time improve your score.

All the best :-) .

Thanks a lot -- I signed up for the e-gmat course and feel that the sub-sectional focus is good. I haven't really paid attention to that before, so I think that'll help me practice mindfully.

I heard a lot about Economist GMAT to improve Verbal part, tried their trial and learned some good stuff for SC. Unfortunately, trial does to permit me to jump to RC strategies, and I struggled a lot with RC. You can try their 7 days trial to compare with E-gmat

Also looking for course to boost score (my first attempt was this week, 600(V28, Q44).

Hey,

I know you already stated that you watched multiple videos of Kaplans, but have you tried "Thursdays with Ron"? Ron talks more about startegies on how to tackle question and how to approach them in the first place...

It really helped me for CR and RC! If you have the time/money you can also consider Ron as a tutor (https://www.ronpurewal.com/), but definitly check out some of his videos (https://gmatclub.com/forum/manhattan-s-thursdays-with-ron-consolidated-video-index-223612.html#p2138753)

Hope it helps a little bit...
