It looks like it would be good to go through the MGMAT SC again. You may also want to take another GMAT Prep test to have a more accurate estimate of your final score.

Best of luck!

Your 720 is a good score.

But, if you want to improve and score even higher you'll need to realize that you have to get ALL the answers correct.

It's not about practicing with harder level questions - doing more 700-800 level questions. No.

It's about being consistently accurate 100% of the time - whether it's EASY, Medium, or Difficult. The difference between a 720 and 770 can be careless mistake on an easy/medium question or on a difficult question - you narrowed it down to 2 choices but chose the wrong one. Choosing the right one in those situations requires an "aha" moment.

Usually students who really break that barrier see that "aha" moment and they realize that "aha" moment gets even bigger after a few more practice sessions. A fundamental change in their way of thinking gets them tackling the Difficult question in a different way.

So, focus on how you're thinking and improving your speed. Don't focus so much on practicing 800 level questions day in and day out - thinking those are the ones that trapped you.

Yeah, I have been facing the same problem. 5 weeks into my prep, I am plateauing at 710 levels. I have taken five practice CATs and my scores are MGMAT1 730, Kaplan1 710, MGMAT1 700, Kaplan2 700 and MGMAT3 710. Quant seems to be weak point in general.

My exam is in 3 weeks and I really need to rethink my strategy and improve my score up to 760.

My question to you guys is, there is a lot of tough material posted by Bunuel, et al. I tried solving them but find them too tough. Something in me tells me I should keep at it and not stop. But I really need some course correction advice from you guys. Please help!

770 is a pretty high goal to set. What schools are you planning to apply? Good luck on the test. Please let us know how it went?
