sanjuro9 & tttrn333 - thank you for the kind words. I hope I get in too (as we all do)!
jfk - My original quant percentile was below the 75% mark. INSEAD is really strict about that and advised me to retake the gmat to satisfy the requirement.
sanjuro9 - I was given a soft deadline to complete my interviews "preferably by the end of April." I've scheduled my first interview for next Tuesday 4/10, and my second is still TBD.
Thanks a lot for the info, LSSMBA!
On their website they say
Quote:
INSEAD does not have a minimum required GMAT score. Rather than focusing on your overall score, we assess your individual results in the quantitative and verbal sections of the exam, and we look for you to demonstrate your strengths in both. In order to be competitive, you should aim to achieve a score at or above the 70 - 75 percentiles in both. Please keep in mind, however, that the GMAT is just one of several admission criteria. A high score does not guarantee admission, and a below average score does not eliminate a candidate.
Was your quant score below 70 percentile as well?
Sorry for being so nosy... I'm just in the middle of my GMAT preps and INSEAD is one of my target schools.
Thanks a lot and good luck!
