I can't believe it! I had lost hope after getting dinged by Tuck last friday, but I'm IN! The call was pretty much like the one you guys got! He asked me how I was, and gave me the good news. He also mentioned some details of my essays! I was so excited that I must have sounded dumb on the phone. He said that the status won't change for a while but that's not to worry, because I AM admitted.

30y / M / Brazilian / 6y WE in Government / 710 / 7.1 out of 10 GPA.

If I do get dinged at the end of the day, "no news is good news" will be my least favorite sentence :) :)

If you get accepted, I will go down in the history of the forum as the legendary character who coined the phrase with respect to the December 17th, 2012 events. I expect no less than a sculpture with my name of it in the middle of campus.

first post here, but just got the acceptance call and figured i'd contribute with profile info for others still waiting:

U.S. (Chicago) / 27 (28 in January) / 720 (V: 42, Q: 47) / 3.33 from small liberal arts school in VA / I-banking, PE background, but essays focused on moving into international operations

Just had a missed call and VM from the admissions office. Said she'd call back in the next half hour. I guess they're going through the call list all day?
