Yes, but only covers tuition fee, I still have to pay 6000 other fees per year. Needless to say living cost...

Tuition fees was the biggest pain which has already been taken care of. Rest of the amount should not be much of a problem. Do you have any info about the Room and Board for TCU? I did not find anything on the website.

I do not think so... 6000mba fees should also be seen as partial tuition. So you are either not granted full scholarship?

Tuition fees is only a part of the total fees which may include exam fees, library fees, facilities fees etc.. I have been given a waiver only for tuition fees

thats a good point..but I wonder whether rochester is worth paying additional 40k for...i mean neeley did trump simon in the BW and economist rankings..and though simon probably has a better pedigree,is it worth graduating with a debt ??

In the end it boils down to your prefernces. 40K$ is not that big a point as 1)The location of School 2) The Post MBA goals and how does that school fare in it 3) The Faculty and 4) The Alumni (You would know which one has a better netwrok).

The good, bad or ugly, its your choice to make !

Hey..!! GPA varies from country to country and from University to University. It is not a true reflection of your potential. But GMAT is a universal test, common for everyone :).
You like 3 idiots and Aamir Khan :) we have got something in common..!! If I may ask which schools are you targeting?

Suraj Sharma's performance in Life of Pi is impressive. Plus Raj in Big Bang. That's almost all I know about Indian film makers. :-D

I hate cold, so only applied four schools in south of U.S.-TCU, SMU, Rice, and Emory.
SMU ding, TCU in, Rice TBD in 3/1, Emory submitted but no response.
If Rice ding, I will go to TCU. Anyway, all will be done in one month.

How about you? will choose TCU? I find you applied schools all over the world, interesting, what's your plan?

haha...You know about Indian movies more than I do..!! :) About different schools I am taking my chances...it was more like 2 dream, 2 realistic and 2 safe. Anyways will opt for the college which gives me the maximum ROI. As of now TCU is topping the chart..!! :)

Good luck for your Rice application but I would definitely like to meet you in TCU :) !!.
