I think they only ever had this Friday open. I'm assuming its one of the super interview days like they had last Friday, with ~70 applicants all there on the same day.

I got mine too. I'm doing it via skype though because its a bit too last minute. When I chatted with them they said Friday is their last day of interviews... so I'm assuming most people that are invited will be invited within the next day or two..

Yep was sort of short notice but I'm not complaining! Although it would've been nice to see an actual class, I like that the Friday visit days seem more comprehensive.

With Thanksgiving being this week and all, will my nerves be allowed to rest for a week or is there still a chance that interview invites will be sent out? I know some schools are still in session on Monday and Tuesday but I wasn't sure if they would send out interview invites or not.

What school(s) are you referring to? If it's a school with early Dec decision date then yeah I'd think by now they'd have extended their interview invites. But, if the decision date is Jan and beyond then I don't think it's something to fuss over, Or at least I'm not.

According to an adcom member from Emory, CGSM is doing a new thing this year where your #1 ranked school is allowed to offer you the fellowship decision along with your admissions decision, if you applied R1. She admitted that since this is the first year it is being implemented, they weren't sure how things were going to unfold - in terms of which schools would be doing it, and just generally how things would work. So I guess we'll see...
