I got that e-mail too, but I haven't replied yet. It's hard that we have to suffer through more waiting :D
I haven't replied yet, either. I'm not sure what I'm waiting for, exactly...I'm afraid I'll get that "There's nothing specific about your app, it's just really competitive" answer, which makes me think there's nothing I could do.

Unless you hear something this week, I would breathe easily until January 6th when most of the administrative offices come back from the break. Happy holidays!

Just heard from an AdCom member that they're working their way through the feedback as quickly as possible, so they are definitely working on it this week.

I (surprisingly) got my feedback today, and the feedback was that they had no "actionable" feedback for me. They also said I'd hear a final decision by the end of round 2. I might have a possible job change coming up next month that I could share...if it works out. But otherwise, I don't think I have much else to add to my app

You always have your continued interest in the school I don't know how SOM specifically approaches WLs, but I felt some other schools treated silence from the applicant as "not interested", when really we just had nothing major to update on. YMMV.

I got feedback saying that my work experience is not as robust as the other candidates so I should focus on telling them what I will offer to classroom discussions and why I think now is the right time for an MBA. I mailed them a short writeup where I discussed these things. Let's see. Anyone else sent them a response?

Some tips I've heard (I don't know how truly effective these are):
-Submit a rec from a current SOM or student or alum -Send short, regular updates instead of a big one-time package -If you receive other admission offers (esp with money), let them know you'd pick SOM over those offers to demonstrate interest -Visit campus and let adcom know you were there
I'm doing some of these, but not all. I interviewed with an ad com member directly and had exchanged emails with her afterward. I contacted her again to see if she could provide me anymore tips or support, but she just referred me back to Michelle. Overall, not feeling to optimistic.

any movement on this thread?
I've just been trying to keep in touch with Michelle (as she suggested) and am submitting an additional rec letter. I'm taking a pre-mba math course and will share my grade with them after it ends, but I don't think quant was a concern on my app anyway. Not sure what else to do.
Has anyone else submitted any supporting materials?

Just submitted a letter, since they didn't provide any feedback.
