Congrats! When did you schedule your interview? Do not forget to share your interview experience!

Well, that update email that admissions just sent was cruel.

Why do you say that? I actually appreciate getting a status e-mail like it.

It's much better than reading an email indicating that all R2 candiates have been interviewed by now! :D

Why I haven't received any update email???

Sure. I submitted my app right on the deadline. My recs were submitted 8-10 days after the deadline. So, may be because of this rec thing, it took longer and my app was sent to adcom on 7th feb. So roughly 2 weeks between going to review and invite.

Yes. I got mine about 2 weeks ago.

Just my two cents, but it seems rather a waste of energy to try to decipher some pattern in the timing of these things. The ad com is full of humans doing a very human task of reading & reviewing all applications, and we just need to accept that it's out of our control or knowledge about when we may hear back (with good news or bad). To illustrate, I had my interview on-campus with Booth last weekend and my interviewer told me that each adcom member simply gets assigned an alphabetical range (eg. last name starting with I to L) and then they dig in and there's no telling whether you are their 3rd application or 35th or where in the alphabetical range you fall for this year's applicants.

So, while I haven't heard from Haas yet either and would love there to be a bit more structure to all of this, I hope everyone can take a deep breath and not stress yourself out too much. That's what 1st year in b-school is for =)

I totally agree with what you have mentioned. But I know a lot of people still like to do such analysis. I myself do not believe in these analysis but if stating my data helps a fellow clubber, I would rather just give it out

Does anyone know if Haas waits until the last day to send out all the acceptances, or do they send it in piecemeal after the interview?

Round 1 decisions were sent out together on the notification date so I assume the subsequent rounds will be the same.
