r1 wl, no news as well. does anyone know how it worked previous years? when waitlisters typically started to hear back?

Based on last year's applicant thread, it looks like the first admit from the wait list came in May. If you consider that this year's deposit is due May 1st (with some people reporting that it's due April 15th), I imagine there may be some movement from the waitlist around this time since the admissions committee will have a better idea of how many spots they need to fill. That said, this is only a guess.

Fellas ! .. I hope you all Round 1 wait listed candidates have sent updates through the round 2 admission cycle.

I frequently check with the ad-com but i do not want to send them one more write up. How should i show continued interest now?.. any advise.. are any of you following their online chat sessions ?

I was not aware of any online chat sessions, do you know where/when these occur?

Did you interview during R1? Also, did your status on the application page change?

I haven't even been invited to an interview yet so I'm hoping for that first!

Congrats again, very exciting, I can tell by the other schools you applied to that you really want to be on the West Coast, so Marshall will be perfect for you!

For those admitted from the wait list, had you been in contact with the admissions committee? I've sent in two updates since December. I received a response to my first update pretty quickly, but I haven't received a response to my most recent email on 3/26...

For me, I only contacted them once to submit an additional essay and recommendation letter and then another time to reiterate my interest. I hadn't heard anything from them in at least a month or two until today when I was admitted.

For the additional essay, I've heard that it is a good idea to address shortcomings in your application. For me, I decided to elaborate on an interview question that I thought I could have answered better. It was about a page and a half in length, or about the same as the application essay.

As for getting an interview, just send your essay (and possibly an additional letter of recommendation, if you think it'll add something) and hopefully they'll get back to you.

I saw last year forum of waitlisters. I have noticed that few people who were waitlisted in Round2 got decision in July. I am hoping that it wont repeat this time and will get to know the decision by May.

Any idea on waitlist to admit conversion rate for Marshall ?
In the admissionado video, Jon says generally the conversion rate is 10 -30 %

Hello Everyone!
Have any of the Round 2 Waitlisted students received a response.

Does anyone know about the time lines.
I am assuming by end of April there could be few hints.

When will the Adcom review the waitlisted applications?
