Hi everyone. I am considering applying in R3. Would it be wise?

You see I am an international candidate (Indian). Plus I am seriously interested in scholarships. The kelley site clearly states R2 is the round that I should have applied to for the best chances.

Your advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

You have a great score. Although scholarships might be a bit of an issue, but whats wrong in trying. If they want you, they want you right.
They can offer you any scholarship if they really like you. So go ahead.

Thanks for the encouraging words, pcnemesis. I am trying to scope out all colleges where I could make a late application and then decide. Best of luck with your applications.

I will advice against applying in R3. With a 760, I might not get even a call from Kelley in R3 let alone admit and scholarship.

I will suggest you to apply in Fall 2016 intake R1.

P.S. My personal opinion.

I don't have the luxury of taking it to next year. For me it is either this year or nothing :ninja

Debrief time! I had my interview recently with an adcom member in Los Angeles. The interviewer hadn't read my essays and only had my resume. It was a comfortable conversation with pretty standard questions and shouldn't be difficult at all if you know your story and have done plenty of introspection on your strengths and weaknesses. Take time to also reflect on your previous performance reviews by your supervisors. Only one question made me pause and think for a couple seconds: If you could go back in time and do things differently, what would you change?

Good luck to those who have interviews coming up!

Gosh !!
"Only one question made me pause and think for a couple seconds: If you could go back in time and do things differently, what would you change?"
Exactly same thing happened with me.

I will think about my interview as descent but one downfall was I couldn't mention at all any extra curriculars and that might affect my chances I guess.
Hope it doesn't affect that much.

Nice conversational interview with Brad. Awesome person to talk to and he will make you comfortable as soon as you sit down for the interview. Hope to meet him in the campus again. :)
