Hi! I am planning to apply for Fall-16 intake. Would love to have your inputs on my profile .
Any stretch / safety school advice is always helpful as well.
Demographics:
-24 year old Indian Male (25 at joining)
GMAT:
-750 (Q 49, V 44)
Undergrad:
-VIT University : BTech ( Mechanical Engineering )
-GPA of 7.9/10.
-Was a part of the Collegiate Cultural Fest for all the four years of my undergrad. The university being a 10000+ student campus raises the stakes much higher.
-Was involved with a variety of other events and clubs at college.
Work Experience:
-Currently 3 years (4yrs at matriculation) in an Indian company which is a market leader in Air-Conditioning . I am involved with Blue Star in the role of a Sales Executive. Have had a good track record.
-Currently managing an entire sales territory .
Volunteer Experience:
-Worked with a NGO ( Make a Difference ) as a fundraising intern raising money to fund and support education for 12 underprivileged children.
Extracurricular:
-Interested in variety of activities. Long Distance Cycling / Swimming / Spanish .
Currently undergoing a certification program. Should gain Basic Certification at the time of application.
MBA Major:
-Strategy / Leadership
Post MBA Goal:
-Strategy / Leadership consulting
Targeted MBA Programs:
- UVA
-Tuck
-Duke
-MIT Sloan ( STRETCH )
-Emory
-Ross

I believe you are well on target with your list of schools. I would consider Tuck also a stretch (or in my own terminology, a reasonable reach[url][/url]). For another good on-par level program, consider perhaps UCLA’s Anderson. And for a program that would be a bit of a reach but I also an interesting (if perhaps counterintuitive) fit, take a look at NYU Stern!
