You have to buy it through GMAC.

I don't think GMAC allows discussion or posting of those questions.

Thanks for the review, very informing.

Question: Is the whole thing with RC fixed? If I decide to do a drill on RC, will I get different RC passages for each question?

Question 2: Is there a way to remove all number of times I have reviewed a question? I have accidently hit "Retry" when I wanted to just simply review the question, which gives me a whole new "category" if you will, in the dropdown menu

Just download the GMATPrep and the remaining files and install it again. You will need the activation code that GMAC emails you for both Question Pack 1 and Exam Pack 1.

If I enter the code again, wont the application throw an error that the code has been used already?

No, you can reuse the activation code. I have done this several times to move the exam pack 1 from my mac to the pc.

Hi Ankur,

Can you please let me know if you are aware of the relative difficulty level of questions in the GMAT prep question pack 1? I see that you have attempted the GMAT 3 times and assume that you might be able to correlate the questions in question pack to the actual questions on the GMAT exam (w.r.t to the difficulty level)?

I have taken a couple of quiz questions (20% Easy, 40% Medium, 40% Hard) from the question pack pool and found that the questions are not very convoluted and with right set of concepts in place should be easily doable.

Though i understand difficulty to be a relative term, can I at least safely infer that the questions on the actual GMAT will be at the same difficulty level and the questions on question pack can give you a safe understanding of how you are expected to perform on the D-Day?

Vijay

Vijay,

Questions in the Question Pack 1 are very much in line with the real GMAT questions. Further, the two tests in the Exam Pack 1 are also very close to what you will encounter in the real exam.

Thanks!

Yes, it does. For example, if you select "all questions" (494, because this set will include the initial 90 questions), you'll be able to see the number of "easy" questions, the number of "medium" questions, and the number of "hard" questions. The total comes to 348 (again, out of 494).

In the study mode the software gives you the answer and explanation right after you submit the answer, whereas in the exam mode you answer one question after another and only after you have completed the entire set then only it displays the answer and explanations.
