Hi, I would really appreciate some advice regarding my chances of being accepted third rounds at one of the following schools based on my profile (or any additional suggested schools?):
- University of North Carolina
- Emory
- UT-Austin
- NYU
- University of Maryland
Do you think I need to be above the avg. GMAT when applying 3rd rounds or is around the avg sufficient?

In general it is harder to get accepted 3rd round than in the earlier rounds, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't apply. You now have to decide if you want to wait until R1 next year or apply R3 this year. You can't turn back the clock and apply R1 or R2 or this year.

Should you Apply Late?
NYU is a stretch. You are competitive at the other schools and applying appropriately.
Good luck!
